Future Home-maker?

One of the things I used my spare time for during the summer was working on my homemaking skills. Cooking and baking was first on the priority list, of course. I still, to this day, haven't figured out portions when cooking yet, but I'm still working on it. One of better mistakes was buying bananas for Spencer and myself. I don't eat them that much, but I have seen him eat them on more than one occasion, so I though buying 5 would be about right for a week. I was unaware that the amount of bananas he eats is less than I thought... Only 2 of them got touched, and one of them was by me. So, once my bananas started getting ripe, I decided to do the only productive thing to do with ripe bananas-- banana bread. The first of the 2 batches turned out less than beautiful, like mom's always were. But I froze the other 2 and worked on another batch a few weeks later. And, I must say, mom had some competition with those loaves. If I do say so myself, they turned out quite beautiful :)
